Amy Grant, Part Two on Episode #248

Hi Everybody,

First of all I want to thank all of you that responded to Episode #247, with my special guest, Amy Grant, Part One. So, here’s Part Two of the interview with my candid friend and I think you’ll enjoy it. Amy was open and transparent about her journey and what she’s learned along the way.

You’ll hear songs like FIND A WAY, LEAD ME ON, SAVED BY LOVE and one of the most loved songs of all time, THY WORD, and many more!

Amy also shares behind the scenes from the movie I CAN ONLY IMAGINE and how that song ended up on both her and Bart Millards albums. What a great story.

Give the show a listen and remember that FULL CIRCLE is also heard on IHEART RADIO, TUNEIN Radio, Podbean, Itunes Podcasts, Google Play, RoKu and many other locations. Tell your friends and enjoy! Thanks for the support!

Amy Grant, Part One on Full Circle #247

Hi Everybody,

It’s been a long time since I spoke with my special guest Amy Grant. The first time I interviewed her, she was 19. I think you’ll enjoy looking back at the songs and memories of an early pioneer of Jesus Music, who’s still going strong.

We’ll look at songs from her first album, her relationship with the DeGarmo and Key Band and the late Rich Mullins. It’s a full show and it’s only Part One!! You’ll hear songs like MOUNTAIN TOP, OLD MAN’S RUBBLE, NOBODY LOVES ME LIKE YOU, SING YOUR PRAISES TO THE LORD and so much more.

Amy has stood the test of time and remains a tender hearted, committed artist that helped shape todays’ CCM. Recently she was honored by the city of Nashville with a memorial sign honoring her and Michael W. Smith, Dogwood, Honeytree, Randy Matthews and others. The sign was erected outside of the Koninowa Christian bookstore, where it all started here in Nashville.

Don’t miss Part One! Tell your friends and write me at info@fullcirclejesusmusic.com and tell me how you like the program. Thanks.

Full Circle Goes Country On Episode #246

Now you know I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I used to go to the Grand Ole Opry as a boy, but in all this time, I haven’t focused FULL CIRCLE on a country music theme. So, on this episode I’m taking a look back at some of the artists that used the country music platform in order to spread the message of the gospel.

You’ll be hearing from the likes of veteran groups Love Song and Bethlehem. Singer/songwriters Bruce Carroll, Paul Overstreet and Mark Heard, some southern tinged county rock from Ed Raetzloff and even some early Daniel Amos before their rock and roll days. Get your boots on and enjoy this country music theme…and let me know what you think at info@fullcirclejesusmusic.com.

When you support this ministry, your gifts are tax-deductible. Go to TEXT TO GIVE or the DONATE button and you’ll connect to https://ACTINTL.givingfuel.com/full-circle Thanks so much! Your support is making this radio show possible! Coming up soon, Full Circle Episode #247 and #248 with special guest Amy Grant, Part 1 and 2.

Looking Back To 1979 Part Two, Episode #245, Koinonia Honored

Hi Everybody,

It’s been an exciting week here in Nashville as the Nashville Historical Commission placed a permanent marker on the street in front of Koinonia Bookstore/Coffeehouse and honored our Jesus music beginnings. The band DOGWOOD, BROWN BANNISTER, AMY GRANT AND MICHAEL W. SMITH played their first songs in this coffee house in the early days of Jesus music and were on hand for the unveiling. I’ll post pictures soon on my webpage.

On this Episode #245 of Full Circle, I’ll be looking back to the Jesus music cover tunes from the year 1979. There were so many great songs to choose from, so this is Part Two. If you haven’t heard Part One, please go back and give a listen.

You’ll hear from Dogwood, Amy Grant, who will be a guest on the show sometime soon, Craig Smith, Servant and early veterans Eric Nelson and Michele Pillar.

Just click Playlist 201-Present and you’ll find this latest episode. Enjoy and drop us a line at info@fullcirclejesusmusic.com.

Looking Back To 1979 Part One, Episode #244

Hi Everybody,

Boy what an amazing year 1979 turned out to be! Bob Dylan’s SLOW TRAIN COMING was released as we moved forward from early Jesus music to what became today’s CCM and on this episode, we’ll track those changes. You’ll hear from early Petra, Oden Fong, David and the Giants and DeGarmo and Key, as well as BJ Thomas and Amy Grant.

There were so many great songs released in 1979 that I already know that there has to be a Part Two, next time. With a little help from my friends who pray for and financially underwrite this ministry, I’ll begin to start working on that now. If you want to help, there’s a DONATE button at the top of this page and all gifts are tax-exempt. Thanks.

Remember, all you need to do is go to the Playlist 201-Present and click Episode #244 to hear the great memories from that important year. Give a listen!!

Pops And Cracks, Episode #243

Hi Everybody,

What a fun title for my new show, TOP OF THE POPS AND TRACKS BETWEEN THE CRACKS. On this episode we’re going to be hearing songs that were in the charts on Christian radio back in the day as well as some of those that didn’t quite make it that far but still have something to say that may have not been heard by the masses. Nothing will be lost on this episode!

You’ll hear songs from Bryan Duncan, Steve Camp and the late Keith Green. Two Kims…Kim Boyce, Kim Hill as well as Twila Paris. Solid Rock Records alumni Daniel Amos, Mark Heard and Larry Norman a classic from Phil Keaggy. There should be something for everyone!

Be sure “like” the FULL CIRCLE JESUS MUSIC page on FACEBOOK and tell your friends about the show. As always, I am so grateful for your interest and your support for this radio ministry. Send a note and let me know the songs you’d like to hear and ideas for an upcoming episode at info@fullcirclejesusmusic.com

Randy’s Back! Episode #242 Is Here!

Hi Everybody,

The finishing touches were added to the long awaited Randy Stonehill show, Episode #242 and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Randy really had a lot of things to say that will help you recall those early days of Jesus Music! It was a lot of fun interviewing and producing this episode with some help from our friends, who pray for and financially underwrite the show. As you know, Randy is one funny guy as he tells how he and the late Keith Green wrote UNTIL YOUR LOVE BROKE THROUGH.

Get ready to rock as Randy tries his hand at the “rock classic” CROSSROADS and tells how he came up with the song PICTURE POSTCARD PERFECT DAY. So, give a listen and tell your friends to download. Go to www.fullcirclejesusmusic.com. Find Playlist 201-Present and the new show is at the top of the list.

Become a FACEBOOK friend and “LIKE” Full Circle Jesus Music and when you send us your email, you’ll be the first to know when stuff happens. Be sure and send in requests for an “all request” show coming soon. Write me at info@fullcirclejesusmusic.com.
