Episode #194 From The UK

This episode of FULL CIRCLE is dedicated to a long time listener Pastor Joseph Culp who originally comes from Scotland but currently resides in Pickerington, Ohio. He suggested the majority of the songs we’ll be hearing on this show and wouldn’t you just know it…all of these selections come from the United Kingdom where he grew up.

Some songs will be new to many of you but it just goes to show that America wasn’t the only country with a vibrant and thriving Jesus music movement in the 70’s & 80’s.

Other artists you may be familiar with because they did have radio airplay here in the states include Sheila Walsh, Cliff Richard, Iona, Phil & John and Graham Kendrick.

Thanks for the suggestions “Capt Scotland”….and the support for the show!

Requested By A Listener Who Is ALL IN, Episode #192

Hi Everybody,

I have a story to tell on Episode #192 that is quite amazing…where a listener wrote to request songs and I found out that he lived just over the hill from me here in Nashville. So, Joshua Inman not only requested the songs for this show…he covered the cost of production…entirely!! He’s ALL IN!!

You’ll hear songs from Paul Clark, 2d Chapter of Acts, Steve Archer, Whiteheart and much more…and of course, Joshua’s favorite artist…Sheila Walsh.

Give this story a listen and share it with your friends. Check out my Facebook page…Full Circle Jesus Music and ask to join our Facebook group!!

Thanks!!

Requested SOS on Episode #191

Hi Everybody,

Someone just asked me how many listeners support the show what with almost 1000 folks on the Facebook page now and hundreds more via my email listings…and I told them. “Well to be exact…4 did last month,” to which he replied…”Maybe, they just don’t know to.” “Well, maybe they don’t.” So, want to help? We’d really appreciate it!

We also appreciate those who requested some SOS for this show….(Somewhat Obscure Songs)…I hope you enjoy.

I also hope you enjoy a sneak preview of an upcoming interview with Kenny Marks. Just click the playlist button and give a listen!! Thanks!

Special Guest: John Michael Talbot Featured on Episode #190

Hi Everybody,

On this episode we’ll be hearing from John Michael Talbot who recently stopped by Nashville for a 3 day seminar and concert series. John Michael took some time out during his busy schedule to renew our friendship and talked with me about his music and how God has radically changed his whole life.

You’ll hear from John Michael and Terry Talbot and others that were influenced by their music…such as Jamie Owens Collins and Albrecht, Roley and Moore.

I have many, many silent listeners around the world and I am indeed grateful. But, less than 1/2 dozen friends support the show consistently and make it possible for others to be blessed. Would you consider joining our little family of underwriters? What ever you send will make more of a difference than you know!! With your help we will be able to move toward our goal….the 200d Episode!!!

Would you also consider supporting the show? Check out the PAYPAL button and give whatever you can…and also would you consider supporting a COMPASSION child this holiday season?

Episode #189 Bible characters

Hi Everybody,

Instead of listener requests or artists interviews which have been the norm for numerous episodes of the show for the past couple of months we are going to take on characters in the Bible as interpreted by the Jesus music artists of the 70’s & 80’s.

We’ll be hearing from the likes of Barry McGuire, Don Francisco, Matthew Ward, Honeytree, Kelly Willard, and Twila Paris to name a few.

Click the playlist button and enjoy!!

If you would help us financially underwrite this Episode, especially during the slower summer months…I would appreciate it. Joe Baudino, Mark Groettum, Paul French, Bob Henninger and other did…why not join them?

Episode #188 Inspired By A Listener From Scotland

A listener from Scotland, Joseph Culp, not only inspired but paid for Episode #188, along with a new and special friend, Joe Baudino who wanted to pay forward for other episodes! What great support has come from a few…joining Robert Henniger, Steven Weyhrich, Rev Davis, Joshua Inman and others. I want to honor those who have keep the vision with me to keep the “classics” alive and make it possible to produce FULL CIRCLE! Let me know if you’d like to join them.

On this Episode you’ll hear from artists from where Joseph grew up…the UK. Artists like After The Fire, Alwyn Wall, Bryn Haworth, Cliff Richard and of course Sheila Walsh…and a song from probably the best known band from over the pond. (outside of the Beatles) Be sure and listen and you’ll find out who I mean.

Thanks for telling others about the show. Go to the playlist above and listen or download to your IPOD at the ITUNES Store!

You’ll hear from the likes of Bryan Duncan, Russ Taff, Glad and The Imperials. Also included are several Solid Rock Records alumni including Daniel Amos, Mark Heard, Randy Stonehill and to start off the show is the founder of the label and grandfather of Jesus Music the late great Larry Norman.

Last Year About This Time….

Last year, just about this same time…I posted this note!

Due to the generous support from listeners Bob Henninger and Connie Waldridge we have posted a new show!

For its first hundred episodes, Full Circle was sponsored by a generous gift from Global Advance, a Dallas, TX missions organization. After fulfilling their commitment to help get the program off the ground, we are now completely dependent on the freewill donations of our listeners. There is no other funding. Recently three classic oldies shows left the airwaves because of a lack of support and this seems to be the trend. No-one can do this without help.

If you would to help keep Full Circle on the air, please consider making a donation. You can mail your gift to:

I decided that maybe a reminder would be in order…here a year later.

Episode 185, The 2 Debbies, 3 Steves Request Show

Hi Everybody,

Did I get your attention with the title? HA. Just wanted you to know that Episode 185 has posted at www.fullcirclejesusmusic.com and also at the ITUNES store.

This episode is one of my favorite kind of shows because I get the privilege of serving you the listener and taking you back to where it all began…by playing your requests!

We’ll be hearing from a variety of artists including 2 Debbie’s, 3 Steve’s, a host of family members as well as a few musicians known to many and a few that were on the fringe of Jesus music.

Support for the show has dropped off again…so here’s another gentle reminder that your prayers and support are essential…and the smallest gift, even one-time is so appreciated and vital…plus those who can and choose to do more.

Thanks and be sure and signup on my email registry for updates on the new SWEET COMFORT BAND, DANIEL AMOS and Paul Clark albums…plus lots of other events.
